Fun facts about Carole Marie:

  1. Her hair caught fire in Mexico.
  2. A Costa Rican millionaire wanted to marry her.
  3. When she was 7 years old, she lived in a house with no plumbing or electricity.

Carole Marie Shelton writes wholesome, adventurous, family-friendly books for children. Her stories often include themes of friendship, sacrifice, the importance of family, and courage.  

She is the award-winning author of middle grade novel, Cosmic Chaos (Ashberry Lane, 2015) and forthcoming picture book, Sasquatch Loves Bacon Day (Clear Fork Publishing). She is a graduate of Institute for Writers, a certified ghostwriter, and a graduate of the Children’s Book Academy.

Carole Marie and her family live in a charming historic town in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, often go on hiking adventures, read books, and explore the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
